Cordelia Smythe Murder Mysteries are written with attention to historical figures, places and events. Most are set in specific time periods, and include a short history of the era. The hostess booklet also contains a party planning guide along with fashion and menu ideas.

If you have never participated in a Murder Mystery Game, no worries--your Character Booklet includes all of the information necessary for you to play the game. Miss Smythe's games are not scripted, however, for the event you will take on the persona of an entirely different person. You will be provided with details of your past, including secrets to protect, alliances to forge and goals to achieve.

Most parties will take from two to three hours to complete.
